Roon issue using Bluesound as endpoint

I have an issue when using Roon and selecting "Bluesound" as endpoint from Roon. Tracks play for 10 seconds and skips to the next track. When choosing "Airplay Bluesound" there are no issues. I have a 500 mbt Internet connection and Bluesound is wired via ethernet to Google Wifi Router. I use a Macbook pro 2018. Has anyone experienced the same?

Is "Airplay Bluesound" a lower sound quality than "Bluesound" via Roon.

  Hello,

  If streaming from a hi fi source to your Bluesound player such as Tidal or Qobuz, usually it will be at a higher bitrate than Airplay.

  That being said if Roon/Airplay Bluesound works, it could potentially come down to how you have configured the endpoint i.e. if you're streaming MQA to the Bluesound player, you might need to adjust a setting in Roon to assign the MQA Rendering to either Bluesound or Roon.
