Problem to get surround working
Answeredhello !
I just got my new flex and tried to install the home theatre, but in all settings I tried, I fail to get surround. Here is my configuration : pulse soundbar 2i + pulse flex + pulse flex 2i. The install of the home theatre fixed group goes well, I can hear each speakers during the test.
All speakers are connected to my wifi. I checked the strength in BlueOS app and get -27dBm for the soundbar, -51 dBm for one flex, -59 dBm for the other. I assumed this is ok as the app indicates excellent or good.
I tried these settings (I use a video projector so I cannot use hdmi arc as input).
1. playing a dvd on PS3, and optical connexion between ps3 and soundbar. Normally sound settings are ok on ps3 (bitstream) and the dvd indicates dolby 5.1.
2. playing various netflix/youtube videos and casting to a chromecast. I use an Amazonbasics audio extractor to go from hdmi to optical.
In all cases, I get no sound from the flex speakers.
Any hint? Any setting I could try to find the problem?
Thanks!

Hi Ed
The player at -59dbm is a problem (-51dbm could be higher too)... I would see if you could increase these. Interesting considering how high the SOUNDBAR is at -27dbm. You may have some channel interference happening with your router. Check out www.bluesound.com/network101 for some tips.
