Bluesound, for gods sake fix your terrible app
AnsweredPlease don’t respond telling me that every few hours I have to power down all of my devices in my house and cycle the power on my modem. I don’t have to do this for anything else, why do I have to do it for your products?
Please don’t tell me that I need to develop a technician level understanding of networks in order to use your products. I don’t have to do this for any other product, only yours.
The problem isn’t the hardware so it’s nothing to do with streaming music. It is simply the implementation of your unbelievably bad BluOS app. If I close my iPad and open one second later I have to wait for the app to reconnect with my players....every single time. I spontaneously lose connection to a player and have to crawl around on my hands and knees to unplug the power. The app switches from one room to another without me asking it to etc.. etc.. every goddamn time I use it.
The world has advanced considerably in the past 10 years. Could you please advance along with it. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on your products, I expect better.

Hi Owen
The issue you are seeing is not the App - it's a combination of timing in your home network and possible wi-fi extenders and your iPad connecting to those devices while coming out of sleep. We will be happy to help troubleshoot those.
Please select Help, Send Support Request in the app which will send us a log file. In the description please tell us the model of your iPad and iOS running, available in Settings, About of your iPad. Also, let us know the make and model of your router along with any fi-fi extenders or other networking hardware you are using. We will be in touch.

ActuallyOwen. the issue is the Ap. I have two networks in my home and all the bluesound devices fail in the exact same way with each wi fi network. Also with ipad or iphone. doesnt matter.
worked fine till afew days ago. now fails on ipad, iphone century link, spectrum. anywhere in house including adjacent to router.
they will not be in touch. they do not care.
the problem is how their 'ap" interaccts with Apple

Hi
My issue is not so dissimilar with the IPAD. I have a NAD M50.2 up to 3 or 4 months ago when I turned the NAD player on the BluOS controller synced up fairly quickly, now it takes for ever.
I have to hit the settings button on the app several times and eventually the menu comes up, The issue that bugs me the most is that the screen that shows what is playing does not appear and takes forever. So if you want to pause what is playing if say the phone rings, using the app on the IPAD to pause is a no no takes too long.
The BluOS app on an Android phone works perfectly so I guess there is an issue with the connectivity between the NAD and the IPAD BluOS controller App.
I have reinstalled the App to no avail.
