    Hello Dave, 

    The speaker distance when setting up an HT group is how far from your typical sitting spot of the couch is to the speaker -- it is a relative volume adjustment/room correction, essentially (you may have seen NAD or other AVRs with similar settings when setting up a surround sound setup).

    What I don't understand is, if the speaker distance setup page makes some difference to relative speaker volume levels, then why bother with the separate volume setting page where you can adjust, by listening to some white noise, the individual relative sound levels for the Powernode L/R front and Pulse Flex right rear / left rear speakers???

    Why have two setups for, apparently, the same thing?
