What is the purpose/function of the "crossover" adjustment in the audio section of player settings?

  Thanks for the link!.

  I have a Node2i and no subwoofer. The Bluesound player goes straight to my preamp/amp setup.  .So if I'm understanding this correctly..... I currently have the subwoofer in the player audio section set to off . So is the slide adjustment for the crossover now deactivated or is it still active?   It appears to still be active (?)....But maybe not

  When "Subwoofer" is set to "off" the crossover is deactivated.
  Your ears should be able to hear the difference if you move the slider to ie. 200Hz and turn the crossover on/off.
