Node 2i, ir-learning only works with remote control when tv is turned off..

Hi!

My problem is this.. I have used the ir-learning funktion and gotten the volume control to work with my remote when my TV isn't on. But when my tv is on, I can't change the volume on the node 2i from my remote anymore. When I turn off the TV and just listen to music, the tv-controller works again and I can change volume.. 

My tv: LG55UH850V. 

I have the latest updates on my node 2i. 

Any suggestion?

  Hello Johan, 

  In the few cases that I have seen this, usually the remote would be switching to Bluetooth mode when the TV is on, so it no longer outputs an IR signal for the NODE to detect. 

  I searched documentation on the remote for that model TV, but I can't quite find any details for it (it mentioned Magic Remote and Sky Remote, but otherwise no manual from what I could see). My best recommendation would be to reach out to LG regarding the behavior of the model remote you have and if you can set it to send an IR signal out even when the TV is on.
