Analog Input - No sound output from speaker (original support request ID: 116829)

Hi,

I'm connecting ipod/TV audio out to Pulse via audio cable.  I see the bluesound app detects analog input and starts playing.  But, there is no audio output from Pulse speakers.  I increased the volume of input source (iPod/TV) to max and also Pulse volume to max, but no sound from speakers.

Note that I had this problem when I initially purchased the Pulse.  But, then I had a bluetooth transmitter which I connected to TV.  Now that my Bluetooth adapter is broken, I'm trying to link it directly via audio cable. Neither I get sound output from headphone out port. 

Please advise.
