indication of activity

When my amplifier is switched off there is no indication of streaming activity (unwanted, like someone accidentally touched a control) that is using up capacity of my network. With so many colorful LEDs available there should be ample room for showing that the Bluesound is active.

  Hi Wim

  If you are using a NODE or VAULT, consider using a trigger cable. This way you will hear any activity that is happening as it will not only put the Amplifier to sleep when idle but wake it up if activity starts.

  Otherwise, check the App.

  I have an "Alarm" set to go off at midnight every night.

  It plays a very short wav file at very low volume. Afterwards, playback just stops. Thus, it functions as an automatic "off" switch.

  Not a perfect solution, but it saves on (streaming) network usage - and reminds me to get to bed :)

  Thank for your tips, my actual question was: can one of the LEDs be given the task to indicate streaming activity in a future software update?
