How to remove Flag file tag from showing in bluos

    Hello Tom, 

    Given the ".flac" doesn't show in Windows (unless hovered over) but shows in both BluOS and VLC, it's likely the metadata that has the ".flac" on it. I would recommend loading the song/album into MP3Tag and checking the TITLE tag (or, checking the View > Extended Tags in MP3Tag). Remove the ".flac" at the end of that TITLE tag, save the changes, check if all is well in VLC then in the BluOS hit Help > Diagnostics > Rebuild Index.  

    You mentioned other FLAC albums downloaded from the internet appear fine, so I suspect Anyburn may be adding this ".flac" to the end of the tag. There should be a setting to change this.

    Thx for your reply gonna check it out and see if there is a setting in anyburn or a way to remove it under extended tags in mp3tag.

    Okay I checked with mp3tag and nothing under extended tags in the metadata window, at least nothing showing the flac or wav file extension. I'll try and do some more googeling and see if I can find something. Thx again.
