how to permantly delete songs from vault 2i?
Answeredafter i've ripped an entire cd how do i delete songs that i know that i'll never listen to from that cd? i have access to the music and rip folders on my vault but the vault won't let me highlight a song or use my left mouse button to delete a song the way that itunes will. how do i fix this problem? i've read a response from the bluesound tech team that the vault can hold 10,000 songs but that's not important if you only like 4,000 of them.

You need to access the vault's internal storage from a PC. Once the internal disk is mapped to the PC you can access the Music folder, go the folder containing the specific CD and delete individual tracks. Once changes are made reindex the library (Settings -> Music Library -> Reindex Music Collection)
See https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/200387457-Accessing-the-Bluesound-Vault-s-Internal-Storage-From-a-Computer for instructions on mapping the Vault's internal storage to a PC.

Adding on the end of Spencer's comment -- if the Reindex doesn't reflect the changes and you can still see the deleted songs in the BluOS app after deleting them off the Vault's internal storage, try a Help > Diagnostics > Rebuild Index. This deletes the old index and creates a new one from scratch (whereas Reindexing updates the old index).

I tried that... doesn't work. I can no longer delete albums off my vault. I have submitted 5 trouble tickets, once they remoted in and were able to remove a few albums, now I am stuck again and need help.
