    Hi Christoph

Thanks for the feedback - something inadvertently changed here and we have notified our Engineering Team to resolve and restore this in the next release. This only Affects Windows and macOS. The iOS and Android Apps work in real-time as expected.

Besides that is not working, the volume slider on the win10 controller is an example of a not user friendly HMI. Why not simply a + and - button ?? This sliding mechanism is completely unusable, I always end up with either no sound or waking up the complete family .... Please Please copy the + and - button from the app into this win interface ....

    Hi Ron

Tip until we fix this. You can tap/click below and above the volume indicator circle for fine adjustments.

Seems like this issue has recurred with 3.12.1.  Will we have to wait for the next release to resolve?

    Hi JDiRusso

Took us a second - sorry for the delay - looks like this may be a different issue. I am going to guess your Windows computer is a touch screen. You cannot' grab the volume slider with a mouse but you can with your finger.

You can also increase the volume up 2db or down 2db by clicking just above or below the current volume level indicator in the volume slider.

If this is what you are experiencing, we have replicated it here and hope to resolve it in a future release. The root cause is it looks like Windows also recently sent out a DirectX driver update in between our releases.

Thanks for your patience and for bringing it to our attention.

I have no touch display. The volume slider isn't working again. It is very frustating because is was working before the updates. Now, when I have a multiroom streaming I cannot manage the volume for each speker. In this case I take my mobile device but this cannot the solution.

Please fix this problem as soon as possible. It is a so simple problem and it was working 3 versions before fine. You are an international company with high end products with higher prices. I can not understand why you need so much time for simple functions and your service leaves something to be desired.

This problem has existed in the Windows controller for me since I first purchased a Node2i over a year ago, through every update that has occurred in that time. My laptop has a touchscreen and behaves just as described above. I can click above or below the slider to adjust but I have never been able to grab the slider with a mouse-click. Touchscreen grab does work, but mouse click never has. The exact same is true of grabbing tracks for reordering within the play queue... can grab/move with touchscreen but not with mouse. It's always been a bother and felt like unfinished software but I've always just ignored the issue for the most part.

How can I downgrade the Windows controller? I want to manage my volume again.
