Node 2i hum noise

Hi there  - I have a Node2i that has worked great for over 1 year but recently I hear a hum through the speakers when connected to the same amplifier. There is no hum if I disconnect the Node2i which eliminates the amplifier. The RCA cable used is an audiophile AudioQuest Sydney high performing cable. I restart the Node2i and the low noise hum returns. What do you suggest? Thanks, Victor

  Hello Victor, 

  Does this humming also occur via the headphone jack on the front of the Node? And would you be able to test with one of the NODE's digital connections? 

  It may also be a good idea to test with another set of RCA cables as over time your current cables could have been accidentally damaged. 

  If you still hear humming over any or all of these, please email support@bluesound.com with the make/model of your amp and any further details so they may investigate more closely.
