Clicking sound from speakers when adjusting the volume with Samsung S8 on Powernode2i (without HDMI)

Hello,

Yesterday I got a clicking sound through the speakers when adjusting the volume. It is noticable when you listen to a track that is really quiet in the beginning before the instruments kicks in and the artist starts to sing.

Toggling the volume up and down pretty rapidly at that point the tick tick sound appears. 

Not really loud but still noticable.

Not sure if it is just the speakers that are that sensitive and just reveals everything or if something is wrong with the Powernode?

The sound appears both when adjusting with the button on the phone side and with the bluesound + - controls.

The Powernode is connected with a cat6 cable directly to the router.

Anyone has any ideas?

  Hello Kris, 

  As a test, plug a pair of earphones into the front jack of the Powernode and to see if the clicking occurs there.
