Node 2i not indexing files on USB attached hard drive
AnsweredHi,
I've just bought a Node 2i, during the setup process I followed the video process from the Bluesound site but couldn't see the Node under my WiFi network as a selectable option. But it did show up as an "Airplay speaker" so I went down this road and it connected to my wifi, did an update & allowed me to use Spotify/Tidal etc OK.
I then used the BluOS MacOS app on my mac-mini to point the Node to my music folder on an attached USB drive. This folder now shows as local & network drive on the ios and osx app but the files are not indexing. I've tried to do an re-index etc but it gets to one track and stops.
I'm not entirely sure the Node is connected to my Network given that I couldn't see it during the initial setup as I described above.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Hello Nick,
I see you've opened a support request -- if you could follow up with a diagnostic log (Help > Send Support Request, log will be automatically attached) after performing another reindex so the support crew can look into what may be going on.

Ensure that the usb drive is FAT32 or NTFS. Mine came preformatted EXFAT and it drove me nuts brie I discovered that I needed to reformat in one of the other formats. Make sure your stick your music somewhere else first before formatting! FYI I had no Wi-Fi issues myself. Too far from router?
