    Hello fabaut,

    Off the top of my head -- did you do the Help > Diagnostics > Rebuild Index? This will take notably longer than the Reindex as it deletes the old index and rebuilds one from scratch. 

    Following that, check that both the Contributing Artist and the Album Artist are filled in with your Metadata tag editor. I would recommend testing out one set of songs for this (you'll need to do the Rebuild again after making these changes; you might want to check this first and THEN do one Rebuild to save you some time).

    Hi, I’m experiencing some strange behaviors on my library (I have a Powernode 2i, two Pulses 2i and a Nad C368, with BluOS on board).

    All my music files are on my Nas. Part of the music (the mp3s) is played with iTunes (probably now it’s Music), but the files are on the Nas.

    I’ve tagged all my music carefully, but some files are not in the right place when I play them with Bluesound app.

    This album, for example “12-12-12 The concert for Sandy Relief” has 24 songs, and I can see them perfectly in Music. In my BlueOS I’m founding 2 of the songs under “unknown artists”...

    2-17 and 2-18 (Billy Joel’s songs) while 2-19 (another Joel’s song) is in the right place...

     

    I already re-scanned all the library and re-tagged the album, but, as you can see, nothing has changed (the same problem is with the other songs in the picture, but... let’s take one CD at once)...

    How can I do? Thanks

    Thanks Sam, I already did all of that... I also splitted the album in two, 1/12 e 2/12 renumbering accordingly the songs... two Billy Joel's remain in The UNKNOWN ALBUM/UNKNOWN AUTHOR... I bought the album long time ago, it was a iTunes purchase, and in iTunes everything is fine.

    In ROON too, it's only Bluesound that looses the infos.

    The same thing is happening with song n.9 of this album

     

    Here is missing, and Bluesound shows it in UNKNOWN

    I'm using AMVIDIA TAG EDITOR

    To whom it may concern... problem solved.

    With TAG from Feisty Dog I was able to fill two missing TAGS: Sort Album Title & Sort Artist.

    Now no more UNKNOWN ARTIST or UNKNOWN ALBUM.
