    Hello Ken,

All great suggestions. I will pass these forward to our QA Team.

One thing I would like to mention is that the Bluetooth can be set as an IR Shortcut; to do this, create a Preset for Bluetooth, and then set that Preset as one of the IR Commands.

    Regards,

    Hi Sam,

Using preset to activate Bluetooth is a neat trick.  Thanks.

When Bluetooth is disconnected, the player would go back to the pre-Bluetooth state, i.e., the queue and track that were being played (from the Library or Tidal).  That's very convenient.  Can this be done with the Optical input as well?

...yes it can... you can even preset volume levels which come in handy as 5 channel TV is usually mixed at a lower volume baseline than 2 channel Music to account for things going boom whenever Tony Stark and Steve Rogers hook up.

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for another good tip. That can come in handy.

However, I am more interested in "remembering the prior state", i.e., when I switch off the TV, I can easily resume the prior play queue on the track last played.

One more suggestion is to default the forum post order to "most recent activities" instead of "newest post", such that active old topics can be accessed more easily.  And perhaps showing the date for the "most recent activities" as well.

It's turnkey software (Zendesk) - I checked and there are no default settings for Community Forum Posts so can't change that.

Remembering source volumes has been mentioned to our product development team, but its tricky so no news I can share on that front.

    Hi Tony,

I was not referring to remembering the source volume but the playing content (what was being played before switching to Bluetooth or Optical Input).  In the case of Bluetooth input, the controller returns to that content (from local library or Tidal) upon disconnecting Bluetooth.  But in the case of Optical input, it stays on Optical Input after the Optical Input source was turned off.  And the user has to re-select the exact track to resume playing.

So this feature is already there for Bluetooth input, but not for Optical input.

That's because in the case of Bluetooth, your phone is controlling the content and the Player is merely a speaker. The TIDAL playlist however is specifically controlled by BluOS.

    Thanks for the feedback

Isn't Optical Input in the same situation as Bluetooth input where the BluOS player is also just a speaker?
