    Hello Ian,

The next time you see the volume change on its own, please send our support crew a log via Help > Send Support Request (log will be automatically attached) so they may investigate this further.

    Regards,
    Sam R.

Sam, sending you log files has shown no effect. I have sent several to you guys regarding a similar problem and the trouble is nobody gets back to us. I cannot even get anyone on the phone to talk to. So not sure why we should send you anything if it all falls into an abyss?

    Hello Paresh,

I can see that a support crew member reached out to you yesterday over phone and email. Please continue to work with them regarding your issue. Thank you for your continued patience.

    Regards,

Well I logged a ticket last Friday and attached the logs but have heard absolutely NOTHING from support - not even an acknowledgement that they are looking at the problem.

I'm somewhat unimpressed and disappointed with the response.

Thanks for your patience Ian - we have been beyond busy due to the pandemic first because everyone was home playing with their gear but now due to a rapid uptick in sales as people have changed their entertainment spending to more individual or stay home practices. We continue to try to ramp up.

You should have received an automated response with a reference number - if not, please check your SPAM filter and add bluesound.com, bluos.net, nadelectronics.com and for safe measure psbspeakers.com to your approved list.

I have also bumped your request priority. We will be in touch as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience.

    Tony

I have the same problem, I think. There are several interfaces in which I can adjust volume. One is the main window when I open Tidal/Spotify in the Bluos app. There is shown a chosen song at the bottom/below in that window, and a volume knob to the right of the song. When I click on the knob, a meter is shown and I can press + or - to adjust volume. The other interface is when I click on the song so that it expands full screen, then with a larger meter, adjustable in the same way. The third interface is the local music app on the phone, with its own volume control. The problem is that when switching between these interfaces, the volume setting I chose in one setting don’t seem to get transferred to the other interfaces. Yours sincerely, Per C.

    Hi Per Christian

When using any endpoint solution such as Spotify Connect or The Apple Music App via AirPlay - when you redirect or rebroadcast the content from your phone to a BluOS Player, the BluOS Player will inherit the volume from the phone and not its current volume. This is a requirement of the software or App sending the signal given those Apps require not just BluOS Players to comply but a number of third-party devices. This is an industry-standard and is widely seen as the lesser of two problems as the volume control is in the current App you have open. The alternative would be having to start content in one App then switch over to another App looking for a volume control if it's too quiet - or worse too loud.

I've been experiencing the same volume issue since I got my Powernode almost three months ago.

    During this time:

    • I opened a support request and the agent acknowledged there was an issue
    • Two iOS updates released and none of them fixed the issue

The application can be used, but on a 1000 EUR device it's hard to accept that I cannot touch the volume control because I don't know which volume level is going to be set.
