Bluetooth Transmitter & Reciever
AnsweredI own a pair of Sony WH-1000XM3 Headphones and was considering adding a Boltunes AptX HD Transmitter & Receiver to my PowerNode 2i for Bluetooth distance in other rooms. I have a few options but I am not sure which one would be the best quality.
My first question is will the quality be as good as the PowerNode 2i's Built in AptX HD Bluetooth?
Should I buy two Boltunes? One to receive and the other to Transmit Bluetooth from the PowerNode 2i. One Boltunes cannot simultaneously do transmit and receive but they can be linked.
Or, Should I just buy one Boltunes and hook it up to the aux analog output in the front of the PowerNode 2i? This would mean I have to unplug the aux to listen to my floorstanding speakers but if it is the best quality then I can manage.
Third option, Forget all this and buy a Fiio M6 or other HiFi portable player with WiFi under $200 for my Amazon Music Ultra HD needs in other rooms.

My recommendation is to buy a PULSE FLEX 2i for the next room.
1) You can group the two
2) You can play different music in each room
3) You can still use your headphones when you want to
