How can I manually add artist name/album/songs?

    Also please select Help, Send Support Request so we may review the system log. When submitting the request, please let us know about what time you ripped the CD and what it should have been so we can let our metadata service provider know and correct their database for the next consumer.

    The link you provided to manually add artist name, etc (data) just says "You're not authorized to access this page"...and I am signed in.

    Odd, the link loaded fine when clicked, and I also tested in an incognito tab where I'm not signed in to anything.

    Sam, ok the link worked this time. So I got TAG. Now how do I interface that with the song listings on my Bluesound? I am not an IT guy, so I need detailed instruction on how to make this process work. Thanks.

    To access the internal storage of the Vault you will need to do so from a Mac or Windows computer on your network. Depending on which operating system you are using, please follow the steps provided below to access the Vault's internal storage.

    If you are using a Windows Computer:

    1. In the BluOS App open Help>Diagnostics. Make note of the IP Address of your Vault

    2. Open file explorer ( any folder on your Computer ) and in the Top address bar type in \\IPOFTHEVAULT\

    3. Open the "shared" folder

    4. The "Music" folder has all the music stored in it

     

    ​​If you are on a MAC OSX Computer:

    1. In the BluOS App open Help>Diagnostics. Make note of the IP Address of your Vault

    2. Open Finder & Select GO at the top of your screen

    3. Select Connect to Server and type in cifs://IPOFTHEVAULT

    4. If prompted for a User ID, type in or select guest

    5. Open the "shared" folder

    6. The "Music" folder has all the music stored in it

    Once you've made the changes using TAG, be sure to perform a Reindex Music Collection to have the BluOS app recognize these changes under Settings > Music Library > Reindex Music Collection. Depending on the size of your music library the indexing process may take some time to complete but one the LED on your player returns to solid blue you will then have access to your update library (I recommend closing the BluOS app and then reopening as well).

    Sam, so that worked but also prompted some more questions. I know these are Tag but figured you would know them. This is not a quick process but I think I am missing some key data points.

    1) In Tag, I have to key in the artist and album for every track. Is there a way that populates automatically once I put that info in for album track 1 and then go on to the other album tracks? Very time consuming.

    2) Same for artwork. I have to put that in track by track as it does not carry over to the next track.

    3) Also, when I put in the data for each track and save, it does not change or add a file name so I can't search it. Where can you designate a file name in Tag for each album. Basically you click on Track 1 in the left column and it brings up the album artist, title, etc...but it is still called Track 1 in the index. How do I change that?
