Powernode 2i Lack of Bass from Subwoofer
AnsweredI just got my Powernode 2i on 8/12/2020 and it updated to the latest firmware automatically via android. I am lacking bass all around. I have Q Acoustics 3050i speakers and a Q Acoustics B12 Subwoofer. I mostly use it for music on Amazon HD and Tidal.
Is this normal? Does the Powernode 2i amplifier lack get up and go for the Subwoofer out? or is the new Firmware flawed? it just seems like something is missing and I thought this was going to be my dream system.

Hello,
In the BluOS app, under Settings > Player > Audio, there should be audio configurations, one of which is the Attached Speaker setting. Toggle this to see if that improves the bass feedback.
You can also adjust the Bass Tone Control in that menu.

Yeah, I already tried that and it is a no go rather I select "subwoofer" or "no subwoofer" the sound still lacks bass. Also jacking up the bass on the reciever only adds bass to the speakers not the subwoofer, at least from what I can measure with my ears.
Update: 8/17/2020
Hooked up headphones to subwoofer out and bass was only present with the Powernode 2i about 75% turned up and was still not what I would call loud. I took out the speaker banana plugs while testing this. Not sure if this is normal or not but thought I would at least share it.

Latest update seems to have killed my bass output wtf!

I sent back one Powernode 2i to amazon because I thought the sub out was defective with this issue. Now I am sending back my subwoofer as BluSound is claiming there is no way it is there problem. If I get a new subwoofer SVS SB-3000 or other suggested and it is not driving I am going to be frustrated. I might just return everything for good this time.
I want HiFi audio but I cannot dedicate this kind of time to it. For this much money things should work fairly easy. Also noticed music is loading extremely slow on the last update and the Powernode 2i is turning on music by itself sometimes. So Frustrating. on paper this thing looks great.
