Vault Volume Issues

    Hello John,

This is odd -- the line-level output of the Vault shouldn't change over time, and I haven't seen a case of this before.

If you haven't already, I would suggest replacing the cables to see if that resolves it. Are you able to test the Optical to see if the volume is equally low?

Also, do you have Fixed Output set on the Vault?

    Regards,
    Sam R.

So it seems the analog outputs (RCA jacks) are the issue.  I tried the analog connections to another input on the same system, then on a separate system and had the same results both times.  I tried the optical output and everything sounds fine.  Not sure how/why the analog outputs would be bad - there's been no mishandling of or trauma to the unit.  Not sure yet if the optical output will be viable, so if anyone has ideas how to address the analog issues, please share.

    Thanks, John

    Hello John,

Thank you for confirming. In the meantime, I have escalated your request to the support crew for their input as well.

I am having the same problem with a brand new Vault 2i.  My CD player connected with the same RCA cable plays fine and loud.  Switch the same cable to the vault, connected to my Denon receiver, and at max volume not loud at all.  Very disappointing since I know there is nothing wrong with the cable or the receiver.
