    Hi Chris,

Did you remember rebuild the index in BluOS after having changed the SMB version on your NAS?

(Help > Diagnostics  > Rebuild Index)

I had exactly the same issue which the rebuild fully resolved.

Incidentally, its recommended that on your Synology you change the SMB range to 'SMB2, Large MTU' (min) ==> 'SMB3' (max) as per the following :-

    regards,

    Mark

Thanks Mark, that did the trick. All sorted now.

I didn't remember because I never knew about this! So I've learned something today.

Thanks for your quick response, I could have been going round in circles for days without it. And without my music in these strange times I might have gone a bit la-la.

Best wishes from England's Lake District

I know exactly what you mean Chris. Hoping to get up to the Lakes myself next month if safe to do so!

I am having a similar issue with Seagate 5TB drive mounted as NAS drive. Bluesound Node 2i worked with NAS on October 19 2020 and then next day after Bluesound update I tried reindexing then rebuilding, then deleting and re-adding library and now it cannot see it at all. Every PC in the house sees it just fine and can play music. Streaming services work.

Seagate has no settings. I am using ASUS RT-AC5300 Router running June 2020 DD-WRT. Samba is set at minimum Samba 2.02 and Maximum 3.1 with no encryption. I tried weakening it with no difference.

How can Bluesound Node 2i see NAS one day and then not at all? I have tried many things:

See post NODE 2I AFTER UPDATE NO LONGER SEES NAS DRIVE for more details. Thanks for any help connected Node 2i to router and NAS to same router and it worked and now it does not.
