Node 2i restarts every 5 minutes

Hi, 

I have a support request logged but would like to know if others have similar issues. Since the last few months my Node 2i was pausing music randomly. Lately I found that the light turns red on each pause. The diagnostic log shows multiple Jan 1 time stamp entries. The frequency has increased and now it restarts every 5 minutes. Same result on wifi or Lan. Same restarts if its playing or if its paused. 

Let me know if someone has experience something similar or have you been able to resolve it.

  havent seen that here, the only problem I get with paused music is that when I try to resume blackback if the music has been pause for like maybe an hour or more, I get a message saying forbidden error along with a long number, then I have to restart the song from the beginning again.

  I have similar issue. Not every 5 minutes, but frequently enough.

  Hi, 

  I got help from bluesound support, they tried to fix it remotely and it fixed it permanently. After that the I only see a red light. I was later told  that its a hardware failure and was asked to pay half the price for repair as it was over a year. 

  If your node 2i is out of manufacturer warranty then you better link with the seller or if you are in europe there is a legal guarantee that can help.
