Stereo swaps left <—> right on ‘analog in’. Please help!
AnsweredOn my Node 2i I have connected an external source on the ‘analog-in’. My source is an stereo amp (without a ‘digital out’) which sends the sound coming from my TV, turntable, tuner and cd-player to the Node 2i for multi-room use. The incoming signal gets sent to a subwoofer, an pulse flex and back to the analog amp which drives my two floorstands. The Node 2i has installed the latest updates to date.
The problem I am experiencing is that the sound coming from the analog-in keeps coming out with a swapped stereo sound. The left channel comes out as right and vice versa. All the connections have been checked and are rightly connected.
When playing from an ‘internal’ source of the Node 2i, (say spotify, tunein or anything else) the stereo is displayed correct. So no problem there.
This may point that the problem is somehow with the external source feeding the Node 2i. But this does not seem to be the problem because;
A. Everything is connected in the right way (triple-diple-checked) and
B. When turning on the Node 2i, the stereo coming from of the ‘analog-in’ is at first displayed correctly (!!!), only to swap again later on. (Weird right?)
My estimated guess is that the problem is somehow Node 2i-software-related?
Has anyone else experienced this problem? And if so, any advice on what to do to prevent my Node 2i from swapping its left-right channels when playing through ‘analog-in’?
Maybe someone can help me, because I really really really would like to resume listening to my lp and cd collection! :)
Thanks for reading!

Hello Bartjan,
Very odd. I haven't ever seen this sort of behavior myself. Particularly given that internet streams such as Spotify and TuneIn do not exhibit this behavior, but analog connections do.
I think the best approach would be to replicate the issue, and once it reoccurs, open the BluOS app and send our support crew a diagnostic log using Help > Send Support Request (log will be automatically attached to the request) so that they may investigate closely what may be causing this.
It may also be helpful to add the make/model of your connected equipment when sending the support request.

Thanks for your answer.
I have just replicated the problem and sent in the support request. Hopefully it can lead to something!
The amp connected to the analog-in is an Arcam A38. The audio-out of the Node 2i goes back to the av-in of the arcam amp to display the sound in sync with a pulse flex 2i elsewhere in my house.
Fingers crossed for a solution!
And good luck trying to find out what is happening! Can imagine it being quite the challenge!! :)

I have the same problem - can anyone share what could be the possible solution? I just discover the problem with the Optical Input (no signal) and trying the analog input (which a signal did come out) but then the left and right channel got swapped.
P.S. - the support crew did contact me regarding the optical in issue which, despite no conclusion can be drawn and i am asked to contact my local dealer, i still appreciate the effort of the crew who remote access my node 2i and try to fix thing from the other side of the world.
