    Hi Michael

    Thanks for the feedback - we continue to speak with Amazon about the limitations many of our users have with their API and how they can improve the experience with our mutual consumers. 

    As for Chromecast, we have had discussions about the large internal hardware resources Google has on implementing Chromecast and how they bring that down to meet our requirements.

    I purchased Amazon ultra hd but without the ability to use Chromecast with my node 2i it was a useless purchase...you need to update the node 2i or maybe I'll look into buying the CAMBRIDGE AUDIO

    Another way of possibly listening to ultra hd maybe a external input for Chromecast to the existing system

    You can consider that... if you can find them - Google unfortunately discontinued it. Those who have tried have often reported a ground loop that occurs if you use the USB port on your player to power the Chromecast Audio adapter. So if you go that route, you may want to spend the extra $10 dollars on an external power supply.

    Given the quality of the blue node 2i it might be worth waiting to see if you can do it through an update
