Adding Other Streaming Stations
AnsweredHi,
While "TuneIn" appears to be a convenient service, it does not cover *all* streaming stations.
In fact there seems to be politics or "protection" money involved. Some radio stations have been dropped by TuneIn for undisclosed reasons. (Possibly because they did not pay a listing fee?) "Follow the money"...
At any rate, I have found the stations on the internet, and they are still operating even though they are not listed in TuneIn. Is there a way I can add the URL into the system to play it on BlueSound?

Hello Derek,
You can try to save these stations as "Customer Stations" via the TuneIn integration.
In the past I have been able to add internet radios as Custom Stations that aren't hosted by TuneIn, though I cannot guarantee this will work for all stations.
We have an article outlining the steps here: https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/217463777-Save-an-Internet-Stream-as-a-Custom-Station-in-TuneIn
Please keep in mind however that you will need to use a direct URL to the radio's stream and not just to the web page of the station (for example, the direct URL for AI radio is http://listen.ai-radio.org:8000/128.ogg?cc=CA&now=1542050261.996& ).

Coming strait from the Sonos and Winamp environment I really miss some of the streaming stations on some which I have an account, like Bandcamp and Shoutcast. What will it take to add these stations to the list?
Cheers
