BluOs Controller Issues - OSX 10.15.6
AnsweredmacOSX Catalina v10.15.6
macOS App: 3.8.3 BluOS 3.8.17 on PowerNode 2i via ethernet
Two problems I've noticed.
1. The player status bar at the bottom of the app doesn't update, I'll choose a different source or track and it stays on a track that was playing previously. It says "Loading Next track..." and goes back to the prev track. Also during this time the controls (play / pause) don't work (next track and prev track work, still no visual update though). It's generally completely out of sync and impossible to control anything once this happens. The only way to correct is to restart the app.
2. Selecting an Analog Source does not always work. At these times, clicking it from the left menu there is no response from the app, nothing. Even when it does respond with the message "Your player is now in X mode.." the player status bar at the bottom never updates. The only way I'm able to consistently select an Analog input is via my iPhone.
At the moment the desktop app is un-usable for me and the iPhone apps is the only option.

Hello Chris,
When going to Help > Diagnostics, does this load slowly? If so this could be a connectivity issue between the Mac and the Powernode (that is, when the app tries to resolve a command, it takes too long and times out). As a test, if possible, see if Ethernet connecting your Mac device resolves the issue.
Alternatively, I would also recommend uninstalling/reinstalling the MacOS app to see if that catches it.

No, it's not that slow to load the Help > Diagnostics page, but More > does take about 4-5 seconds to load.
It's not a failed DNS lookup issue? Like would it help to add an entry to my /etc/hosts file for the amp? It looks like from Diagnostics dump it uses direct IP addresses?
I just loaded it directly via the IP in my browser on the Mac and it loads instantly.
Maybe I'll reinstall it.. do I need to delete anything in my local Libraries folders?

Hello Chris,
Interesting that the IP in browser responds immediately.
You wouldn't need to delete any local library folders. The index should be saved mostly on the player itself, though you might need to run a reindex after reinstalling the app (or, upon first loading the library, wait a bit longer as it caches the data).
