Opt/Analogue in input

Hi  If I was to run a 3.5mm cable from the headphone output on my amp, into the Node 2i's Analogue input would the Node transmit that signal via Bluethtooth to my Bluetooth Headphones ?  This would enable me to listen to my CD's via CD Player - Amp - Node - Headphones....  Thanks

  Theoretically yes...

  But if your CD Player has a digital output, consider using that to avoid multiple Digital to Analogue to Digital to Analogue conversions. A digital connection from the optical out of your CD player will result in only one DAC happening so you may hear a better sonic performance.
