Completely new Node 2i stuck in "Update Error"

    Hi Alex

    Check your internet settings. Your NODE 2i is having problems accessing the Internet gateway. Try rebooting your router.

    I did a factory reset, and this time I could add the player. But when I select "Upgrade" from the help menu, I get this message: "Unable to check for upgrade. Try again later".

    How can I resolve this?

    Hi Tony.

    Rebooting the router did not help. Help --> Diagnostics tells me that the signal strength of wifi is Excellent. 

    Where/how can I confirm that the Node 2i is having problems accessing the Internet gateway?

    Having the same problem with my newly purchased factory refurbished PULSE.  Caught in a "Needs Setup" Loop.  Rebooted PULSE.  Comes back up with solid blue status.

    Brand new Node having the exact same issue.  Tried rebooting router, deleting and reloading app,  Node factory reset, wired and wireless, sacrificing small animals. Keeps cycling back to this screen

    If the NODE led is Blue, kill and relaunch the App. If it is red, try connecting it with a wired connection temporarily.

    I’ve killed and reloaded the app about a zillion times. It does nothing. I’ve contacted support but I was hoping that since this issue is SO common, someone in the community who’s been able to fix the issue might speak up. Support says to expect a wait of 48+ hours.
