How to add Airplay2 on a PowerNode2 ?

Hello,

i'm using a PowerNode2 and i would like to use it with Airplay2 withour buying a PowerNode2i

Since there is no upgrade possible or program exchange, is there a way to add this option by maybe using a Airplay2 adapter? if not i will say bye to Bluesound and go to an other brand !

I though i could use the line in in optic to plug an adapter (if possible, which one)

Does anyone tried to do someting like that or i'm the only one? :)

  Hi Laurent

  Part of the requirement for Apple AirPlay is hardware security authentication. Apple only allows AirPlay in certain chipsets. This hardware was not available in Bluesound Players until the release of the 2i line-up. You cannot use AirPlay without a 2i Player as per Apple's requirements.  Now some other products may have had that chipset before AirPlay was released, Bluesound did not.

  Hi,

  are you sure that i could not use an external Airplay adapter by using the line in on the powernode?
