Intermittent stop using 1GbE LAN connect to DLink NAS
AnsweredHello, I use NAS DLink DNS-320L to store all my music files, and use 1 GbE certified Class 6 utp cable to link between the NAS, Node 2i and GbE hub. I still have a intermittent stop when hearing music from NAS. It doesn't happen when I copy my file to usb-storage and use USB input of Node 2i. Actually, connection between my router and the hub is wireless. How can I solve this problem ? Best regards

Hi Michael
Contact TENDA or try a different switch that does not block multicast traffic. -
Sorry the topic should be in Home Networking. Please, admin move this to that topic.
I saw in that topic that the problem is IGMP Snooping in my unmanageable switch / hub. I use Tenda SG 105 Gb switch.
I have same problem, either streaming from NAS or from provider like Deezer.

I use TENDA for any other things without problem. Even to stream video to my TV. Also for streaming video from Netflix. When I take directly cable from my TP-Link Router to the blusound 2i, the problem still occurs when streaming from Deezer. So I think it is not the problem in my LAN, but in your blusound 2i firmware. Please patch the firmware with the good one. What is the last version of the firmware ? Regards

You should be on 3.8.13 - Check your TENDA settings to ensure IGMP Snooping is enabled or IGMP Proxy is disabled... Netflix uses variable bit rates while we don't upsample or downsample to ensure the best sound quality available. Please feel free to select Help, Send. Support Request and our networking experts will be happy to help troubleshoot.
