Tunein favorites changes constantly

A question regarding BluOs, Tunein --> Favorites.  This is desktop and app.  

Used to be: stations were stored when I Favorited them and those were the only stations, stations are no longer stored when I favorite them.  Stations that do show up in Tunein --> Favorites change randomly, (which can be fun but a little reliability is nice).  It seems to have started when we purchased a refurbished Pulse Flex a few months ago, could be coincidence.  Could the speaker have hijacked our system somehow?

  The refurbished FLEX may be part of the problem due to how TuneIn Radio associates anonymous logins with the unique MAC address of the network card of your player. Please see this help centre article; https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/203993688

  Same problem on a NAD M32 and the issues started when the unit needed to be swapped. I will try the proposed solution, see if that solves the issue. These issues make me want to stay away from these systems with a next upgrade.
