Hi, This is driving me insane. I am using a Bluesound Node 2i to stream my music which works well. I have an iTunes collection on my Windows laptop which for backup and ease of use purposes I have now copied onto a WD Mycloud EX2 Ultra NAS. BUT I now have duplicate copies of each tune in their associated albums and I cant figure out why. When I look at the technical info against each tune in the Bluesound library, one copy shows its source as for example.... /var/mnt/MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA-Public/shared Music/iTunesMedia/Coldplay/Ghost Stories/02 Magic.mp3 then another copy as....
/var/mnt/MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA-Public/shared Music/iTunesMedia/Music/Coldplay/Ghost Stories/02 Magic.mp3
The difference in the paths being the additional Music folder (after ItunesMedia) in the one souce which shouldnt be there. (I think). I did have this extra folder in Itunes on my laptop until 2 days ago, but I tidied up my iTunes library and it has now been removed. However my Bluesound library still seems to be picking it up. Any ideas why? I have set up a "share" on the WD Mycloud with this share being called "Music" and with its Media server turned on. So from what I read, Bluesound should search for any DLNA database and access the music from there. This seems to be whats happening as I can play my library successfully but why the duplicate entries? This will also take up unnecessary space on the Cloud disks but thats a minor issue as the drives are 2Tb each and set up with Raid config. Could Raid config mean that the library is seeing both disks as they are set up as Raid 1? (ie one a mirror of the other)? If so how do I stop this happening? Or is there another reason for the extra tracks? In some cases I see 3 tracks with the same "source" shown in the technical info for 2 of them (ie the apprent correct one without the extra "Music" folder in the path, and one with the extra "music" folder in the path. Im stumped. Help please!
