    Hi Robot

Thanks for contacting Bluesound. In April of 2015 we introduced basic Tone Controls into BluOS. Here's how; https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/204636618

If you are looking for a more comprehensive solution, I would suggest looking at some BluOS Enabled Products by NAD such as the NAD M10 or NAD C658 which include DIRAC Room Correction Software.

this is not sufficient. two tone controls that drops the volume by 6db is a dreadful implementation!

please put forward a proper 8 band EQ that does not drop volume - look at what spotify has done and replicate

    thanks

    Jerry

A Pi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro with Moode Audio into NAD C368 Coax beats the BluOS MDC module simply because of the ability to leverage the alsa equalizer. Come round to my place if you don't believe me. Adding an equalizer to BluOS can't be that hard, can it?

addition of at least 2 bands could greatly help the usability of this splendid player.
Just having the lows and highs is really restrictive on a wonderful player like the node 2i is

    Hi!
In 2017, I was one of the first to buy a NAD M32 with Bluos MDC Module2. When playing music from streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, etc. The low LF level comes from the module. The equalizer in NAD M32 does not correct the situation. The level of low frequencies is very low and they are not enough. I also have Bluesound Pulse 2, which has tone controls in the Bluos app. Why are there no such controls in the Bluos module for NAD devices??? Can you update the software for the module and add tone controls to the module app???

Can it be possible to upgrade programmatically to + 3-6 db LF level for my module if it is not possible to make tone controls in the application ???
    Thanks!

    Hello Vladimir,

On the remote for your M32, I believe you can press the TONE button (Also labeled as the the STOP button) and then use the up/down/left/right button to go down two items to bass and then use left and right to increase or lower it.

    Regards,
    Sam R.

    Hi all,

As mentioned on other posts, more/better EQ options would be highly (highly) appreciated by the vast majority of Bluesound users who have selected Bluesound gears for the Hi-fi/Better than Sonos approach.

Hoping it should be doable at a relatively limited cost and will be considered at some point

Yeah, a 10-band equalizer with a save function would be a nice feature on the NAD M10 or on Bluos.

Tone controls are not enough these days.

If you have an NAD M10v3, a 10 band equaliser is actually a downgrade from the DIRAC Live tool that comes with it.

Paying extra for Dirac is a downgrade for me (Dirac full range). It was a part of the audio hobby back in my days to adjust a equalizer for better sound. But yeah Dirac needs to earn money... Maybe i am getting to old :)

DIRAC LE is free with your NAD M10v3

For the range between 500Hz and 20K you need to pay. I only use Dirac for the measurement graph.

I am getting better results using the PEQ app from my subs between 20hz and 100Hz.

Also i am not hating on Dirac, i am just missing a good equalizer.
