eq: Curiously, when the tone is defeated overall volume jumps by a good amount

I have node 2i connected to a dynaudio connect. The bluos/node 2i on my iphone 11 allows a +/-6dB change to bass and treble as well as tone off button. Curiously, when the tone is defeated overall volume jumps by a good amount. What's wrong?

  Hello Johan,
  
  When enabling Tone Controls through the BluOS app, the total audio output of your player will be reduced by 6db to allow up to 6db of adjustments for both the bass and treble. When disabling Tone Controls, the volume will be increased again by 6db which is the jump in audio you are noticing.
