Streaming question from a novice
AnsweredI am new to streaming and not a wiz at computing. I would like to add Bluesound to my hifi, and I know I would need to connect it to my internet network but I don't know what capacity ( bit rate? ) I need in order to stream higher res files from Tidal. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to purchase the item and then find out that I can't send it the data it needs.

Hello Gregory,
Regarding the bandwidth, Tidal's official specification on their website is as follows:
5.0 Megabits per second - 1 FLAC stream
7.5 Megabits per second - 2 FLAC streams
10 Megabits per second - 3 or more FLAC streamsAdditionally, ideally speaking, for streaming 192/24 MQA content from Tidal you would need a strong signal strength for your wireless players or a wired connection (which is the recommended connection type for its reliability).

Sam R.
