Bluesound Speakers have a very short life span (don't buy)
AnsweredI bought my Pulse Mini 3.5 years ago. It no longer powers up. This device has been used in my home office in a well controlled environment and worked fine for almost 3.5 years. Then, it no longer powers up after attempting to go through an upgrade. Bluesound support will not do anything about it because it is out of warranty. The only attempt to remedy the situation is $250 for a refurbished unit. That's unreasonable for what's probably a simple fix through replacing some circuit component. This poor response tells me that either their devices are not built for a reasonable life time or they are attempting to make a load off what could be a simple fix. If you intend on having a speaker for more than 3.5 years then you should not consider using Bluesound. I am deeply disappointed with this purchase.

I paid for quality. But, apparently not all of the internal components are quality. If Bluesound backs a quality statement of any kind, they should offer to fix this unit and not sale me an over priced refurbished unit. I paid for quality for a reason, but that's not what I got. And the service is definitely not quality. There isn't any service.
