Reconnecting - New Network
Two-pronged post - if I need to divide it into two let me know. I've just had to install a new wireless network and went with a Google Nest wifi, which is great in many ways but doesn't allow for direct storage like my old router did. Does anyone have any recommendations for setting up an NAS in a Google wifi environment?
Also, since the last time I did initial setup Blu has added the option to add a local share through the W10 controller. This would make my wifi issue sort of irrelevant if I could share the same content via a local PC, but I can't get it to work. When adding the folder which is shared with Everyone, it attempts to Authenticate but then errors out. I'm using the browse method to choose the folder so their shouldn't be an issue with the folder name syntax. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Brian,
Unfortunately, I do not have much personal experience with Google WiFi so I do not have any suggestions to provide regarding connecting a NAS drive. The only alternative I could suggest would be to look into a stand-alone NAS to connect to your network or to use a computer on your network as you have already attempted. As for your local sharing issue, the first thing I would suggest is to ensure you are running the BluOS app as an administrator when attempting to connect this share. The local sharing feature will create a new user on your computer with all the correct permissions to share the desired folder with BluOS. If your computer is blocking the BluOS app from creating this user and editing these settings, it will fail on the authentication screen as you have described.
Alternatively, you could also connect the music library on your computer as a network share and manually perform the steps that the local sharing feature would perform. I will attach an article below with a detailed PDF on how to manually configure your computer's music share.
