Presets - what can they be used for and why don't they apply to local library?
Hi
I have a NAD C658. I was wondering what are the presets and how do I use them. I've noticed when trying to add a new preset, the "Library" source is missing among the source list to choose from. Why is that?
Here is what I'm trying to do:
Save a preset when playing my local library with both subwoofers and tone control ON, and save another preset for Line 1 when both subwoofers and tone control are disabled. My Line 1 is connected to my AV receiver and set at fixed volume and "analog bypass" on. I still need the tone controls and subwoofers to be disabled to get a near true HT bypass functionality. Is this possible using the presets?
How come I'm unable to select a "library" as a preset source? I've tried using both Windows and Android controllers
Thanks

Hello Eli,
Creating a preset will not allow you to configure specific audio settings as you have described. With that being said, to create a preset from content located in your local library you will have to save the desired content as a BluOS playlist. To do this you will first need to clear your play queue, then load the content you would like as your preset. Once your music is loaded into the play queue, select Save Playlist from the play queue to save it as a BluOS playlist.

Once this playlist is saved you can then find it as a preset source under My Playlists. For more information regarding the play queue, please see the article below.
