    Hello Louis,

I'm sorry to hear you are unable to find your ripped CD in your Vault's library. The first thing I would suggest is to try performing a Reindex to see if this helps to restore your album. You can find this option by going to Settings > Music Library > Reindex Music Collection. Once the Reindex is complete, please check your library again and see if your album is now appearing.

If this does not help, please check the Unknown Artist in your music library to see if your CD has ripped without metadata. In some cases where an internet outage may have occurred or the CD being ripped is by a lesser-known artist, the metadata may not have populated to this ripped CD.

    Regards,
    Wesley P.

How long will the reindexing take? I have about 60CDs ripped.

I initiate re-indexing and the `please wait' notice was there for a long time.

    Hello Keat,

The LED of the Vault will turn white while indexing, and then back to blue when the indexing is complete.

You can also monitor the progress under Settings > Music Library (if still indexing, the top will say # songs indexed)

    Regards,
    Sam R.

Some of my CDs that I have ripped do not have a name. All I see is "Unnamed CD" and the time and date. how can I add the name?

    Hello Bill,

To add the CD album info (metadata) to CDs that have not ripped correctly to the Vault, you need to first access the internal storage of the Vault. This article describes how to do that: https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/articles/200387457

Then, you need to edit the metadata. You can use an external software for this, such as MP3Tag.

After you've made the edits, you need to run a Help > Diagnostics > Rebuild Index through the BluOS app so these changes are reflected in the BluOS library.

    Regards,
    Sam R.
