Read Artist Tag from metadata

I've ripped various compilation CDs to my NAS but the artists don't show up in the app, Library/Artists. The Bluos app reads the Album Artist tag in the metadata, but not Artist. If it were to read the Artist tag, individual artists on compilation discs would show up in the app

  I always enter both [Album Artist] and [Artist]. In a compilation album the specific artists are entered in the track's [Artist] field. One for each artist (so not two artist in one). By doing so, the search option of the app can find songs from all the artists in your library.

  Try MP3 TAG, you can edit those in the software, it changes them to reflect what you want to see. It also corrects any faults in the listing. Hope that helps. BTW you can also attach the CORRECT album cover!
