vault backup drive: from 1TB (first generation) to 2TB (new generation)

I could not find the answer to the following situation.

I was a happy possessor of the bluesound vault V500, 1 TB hard drive. Unfortunately, it no longer functions (no proper startup/booting process). I made a backup not long ago, but my main question is: will I be able to use this 1TB backup drive when making use of my new Vault 2 having 2TB (already ordered via internet, but due to the lockdown the device is still on its way to Belgium). The seller told me he was almost 100% sure it was possible, and I hope he is right!

  Although I have not tested this personally, there should be no issue restoring your previous Vault's music library to your new Vault 2.
