Proper folder structure.

Hello,

I’m a new Vault 2i owner. I have copied my entire FLAC music collection, about 1.1 TB, to the Vault from a portable HDD. This means that I copied the Music folder on my HDD to the Music folder of my Vault so now I’ve got the following structure: \shared\music\music

It seems to work but will having 2 “music” folders create problems in the future?

If so, how do I fix it without spending almost 3 days to perform another copy/transfer?

  Hi Jan

  No long term issues here so fear not. If however, OCD takes over, you do not have to recopy, simply connect to the VAULT form a PC and move the existing folders by dragging them up a step form \Music\Music to just \Music. Once completed, you will have to select Help, DIagnostics, Rebuild Index.
