    Hello Jeremy,

To have a member of our support crew look into this issue further for you, can you please send a diagnostic log from your Pulse Mini 2i? You can send this log by going to Help > Send Support Request in the BluOS app. The diagnostic log will be automatically included with your request and a member of our support crew will reach out to you shortly to investigate this further for you.

    Regards,
    Wesley P.

    Hi Wesley,

Thanks for the response. I've started from scratch with the setup so will wait now to see if the problem reoccurs. Currently I only have the app installed on an Android tablet that doesn't really move around, at least as much as my phone. Trying to keep things as simple as possible and working on the principle that I really don't need the app installed on multiple devices especially those that go in and out of the house. That factor seems to cause issues.

If something goes wrong I'll come back and report with the log.

Meanwhile, thanks again and stay safe.

    Jeremy

I'm dealing with the same issue using an Arris surfboard max pro, and a Oneplus 7 pro on Android 10. When I move around my house /yard , my phone /controller gets moved around between the 2 mesh units . Once I'm on a seperate mesh unit from the 2i, I lose the ability to change operate the 2i, the device dissapears . Any ideas ? I can control the unit when I move back to the node that the 2i is connected to after some time...

I should add , even when I go on a desktop PC on the same mesh unit and try to access the web gui via ip address , I'm unable to access the unit... It's almost like the node is stuck looking for the op 7pro and locked up.

Yep. Sounds like the exact same issue. Not convinced that sending logs are going to help. I think Bluesound need to look at the network discovery methods used. This is surely going to become more of an issue as mesh WiFi becomes more popular.

@ Wesley - Tried to send a support request but when I click on that link in the app I get the message 'No information available'.

I've sent my log in and apparently it's been forwarded to the quality assurance team

As soon as I returned to the same access point as the 2i I could also submit mine - the link worked. How did you find out that your log had been forwarded to the QA team?

    Support rep _

have forwarded your input to our Quality Assurance Team for further review and testing.

I submitted thru the app so I'm assuming they have the log and have forwarded that as well

Let me know if you get any feedback Marc although, understandably, I can't see that happening in the near future.

    Meanwhile, keep well. Best, Jeremy

I've already done that, but I've not had a response as yet. As I said, I wasn't really expecting a response due to the situation but it would be great to hear if someone has the time. Best Wishes.

FWIW, I use a BT mesh system (2 discs) with a Fritz!Box router and have no problem connecting to my Node2i wherever I am.

Update - Got rid of my Arris surfboard max pro as there werent any feature controls or ways to troubleshoot. Got an orbi ax 6000 rbk852 , and had the same problem. Luckily , this model has a decent web gui. What fixed it for me was to ENABLE IGMP proxying / snooping. One I enabled that , I can roam around my yard , house and different nodes and different bands (2.4 and 5) with 0 problems connecting to the node 2i whatsoever .
