Controller app on two devices, android and iphone possible?
Hey everyone,
I bought the node 2i recently and set it up first on my Huawei android phone without breaking a sweat. I tried setting it up on an ipad also so that everyone else at home can use it while I'm away but this is where I've ran into trouble.
Both node2i and iphone XR are connected to the same wifi, both have IP addresses from the same subnet but every time I try to add a player on the iphone's app it just keeps telling me to "connect to player" but it's not visible as a wifi hotspot - I can only see the device on the bluetooth list. I tried rebooting the node and forcing the device discovery - it flashes green for a short time and then goes back to blue.
I'm clueless. Any ideas? thanks

Hello Luka,
The setup process through the BluOS app is used to connect your player to your home WiFi network. Once the player has been configured to your home network, any other device running the BluOS app on the same network should see the player as an available device without any need for setup.To investigate this further for you, I have escalated this as a ticket to our support crew. Hi I have the same problem, working fine with old iphone, now have a new one it doesn't work. Both players have a blue light and don't appear in the player draw of the new phone using the Bluesound app.
Please help.

A few years ago I setup my bluesound system with my old iphone using the BluOS app and all is working fine. However, I tried to use my new iphone using the BluOS app and there are no player’s displayed. If I go back to my old phone the players are visible. Is there a limit to how many devices you can use to control the bluesound products? Thanks Rob

On your newer iPhone, open the Settings App, scroll to Apps, Bluesound and enable Local Network. if problems persist, please contact support@bluesound.com
