Can I connect an external CD on a Node 2i to rip cds?

  Hello Davide,
  
  The Node 2i does not have any ripping functionality. If you are looking for a product to rip and store your CDs, I would suggest looking into a Vault 2i instead.

  With that being said, you could connect an external CD player to your Node 2i to listen to this content through the Node 2i, but again, you will not be able to rip these CDs.

  I need to rip 200 cds... (ripped in mp3 some years ago but I want to re-rip) they are stored in an itunes library... in a nas

  I don't want to buy vault because I want to keep my files on my nas... so I thought to buy a node and then attach a cd for rip them. bad thought. thanks for your help.
