Are all outputs always active on the Node2I?

  Yes, they are. We, however, recommend for best performance if connecting to multiple systems, use a single NODE for each system. Third-party external DACs can introduce delay when playing in a multiroom environment.

  Can I output analog audio to my sub via the sub output of the Node Icon and also output a digital stream via coax to an external DAC?

  Will Dirac Live recognise my 2+1 configuration and generate a filter for all three speakers?
