    Hello All

    Thank you for your continued patience. I am closing this duplicate thread and ask you to follow here;

We are looking into the situation and are testing a fix right now. Unfortunately, we are slightly delayed in getting a resolution out to you.

If you have Factory Reset your system, you have made matters worse by erasing any network configuration. That being said, the issue is only affecting the wired network adapter low-level firmware. If you connect your player wirelessly using the wireless adapter included in your packaging, the BluOS MDC will work fine. The USB Extension Cable included in your package also doubles as a wireless antenna to help increase network throughput.

If you have not set up your player wirelessly, please visit www.bluesound.com/setup to follow the easy instructions.

Finally - you will need to be connected to the network to install the update - sorry about the Catch22 - our support crew t support@bluos.net will be happy to assist.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

After the update this morning the BluOS stopped working.

    Attemps:

    -  I even tried an update with the help of other users by using the USB procedure.

    - BluOS Reset

    - BluOS Reboot

The option Info show the screen below:

    Problems:

    - Can’t play any music.

    - The iOS Apps are not able to find my player, in any way. I can’t add the player.

    - Can’t operate the App because the settings can’t be loaded.

    HELP please.

    Robert

    Hi all,

It’s resolved: I switched off my router and then back on.

I got help from my brother in law. It’s seems to be a problem of modern equipement.

The update caused a network problem. It’s a bit technical, but my router still showed my amplifier in the overview of the LAN-connections. So it made me believe that it was still there. Even when I changed the network cables. The update caused the network connection to fail, but both the App and the NAD C368 did not notice the network loss.

So dear NAD Electronics and BlueSound check and test your updates with more care, make sure the App and the C368 are intelligent to test any network failure. Please do! I and many others with me paid money for quality.

    Yours,

    Robert

I've rebooted the router a few times.  Nothing.

There is another topic named “BLUOS 2I UPDATE ISSUE” with tips from Ian, this helps perform the update by USB device

    Robert B - thank you.

Unfortunately, I have done the USB firmware updates.  Reset the modem/router.  Nothing.  I don't want to try to get it working again using Bluetooth.  My initial set-up with hard wiring/ethernet cable went smoothly, and I want to keep it hard wired.

I hope Bluesound/NAD chime in today.

    Hi all.

I recently updated my BluOS software from a perfectly functioning version 3.6.12 to version 3.8.3 and immediately ran into difficulties. The ethernet connection stopped working & I could only connect via WiFi which was also suffering with drop outs despite a strong signal. I attempted factory resets/reboots etc but nothing worked so I raised a support query with Bluesound. They were very helpful & supportive but in the end concluded that version 3.8.3 is at fault & a fix is now being looked at & once ready will be released as another software download. In the meantime I manged to reinstall version 3.6.12.via usb and my NAD C368 with BluOS MDC2i is back to full functionality including connection by ethernet. The only pain now is that I have to keep having to stop the system trying to automatically install the latest update ! Hope this helps,

    Regards, Steve

    Hi,

I also need help because I'm experiencing my wired network connection no longer working after the 3.8.3 update (NAD 390DD & MDC 2).

Where can I get the older firmware? (Or is the patched firmware already released anywhere?)

    Hi Patrick,
I had the previous firmware saved on PC & put this on a USB stick & reinstalled this on my NAD 368 & all is working perfectly. Not sure what your previous software version was for your NAD 390DD . Clearly version 3.8.3 is buggy so we await a further update to be released,
    Regards Steve.

    Hi everyone,

I have the same trouble as D. Flyn, how can I re-install the previous update on my C368? Can anyone provide a link to the previous firmware version please?

    Thanks,

    Luis

    Hi everybody,

I already installed the older firmware (3.6.12), but before being able to even start using my C368, it will automatically start upgrading again to the new and bugged firmware (3.8.3). How can I avoid that?

    Thanks,

    Luis

    Goodmorning,

Is it possible that someone could provide me with the 3.6.12 firmware? Would be great, as the wifi connection here is very stable but my nad m10 connection is very unstable. And it looks like that each time the amp goes on standby it looses its wifi connection.
