Node 2 - 12v trigger
I bought a 12v dc relay to use with my node 2 and an amplifier that dosent have a trigger, I will wire the relay in to the amp mains so that the relay will power the amp on and off.
I tested the relay with a 9volt battery and it is working fine, the node 2 however will power the LED (on the relay) but not trigger the relay.
I am getting 12v from the node 2 trigger output as verified with a multi meter.
I have tried with a mono plug and a stereo plug, any sugestions, are there any settings that perhaps i am not seeing?
Thanks in advance

Hello Andrew,
If your Node 2i is providing the 12V through the trigger out, then all appears to be working correctly from your Node 2i. With that being said, I am unsure of how to assist you with your external equipment, however, there are no additional settings through BluOS which would need to be configured for the trigger out.Regards,

Would someone at Bluesound be able to tell me the current/amperage of the the 12vtrigger output, its usually in milliamps, I suspect that the trigger is not strong enough to trigger the relay? if I knew the answer I would know for sure what the problem is.
I also wanted to make sure I understood correctly that the 12volts should be present when the unit is playing music and not present 15minutes after the last audio is played or instantly if I clear the cue?

Hi Andrew
It is the industry standard 50 mA. - Yes, it is 15 minutes after last audio plays regardless of the play queue status.

Thanks Tony, that helps a great deal!
