Thanks Wesley, hopefully it's not too challenging to scale it for display on TV correctly.
    Cheers

    Hi,

Its good idea to have Android TV App.

I have Nvidia Shield with Android TV and I would like to see app like that to access, control my music directly from there.

One more vote for this. The main cable TV provider here in Serbia is using Android TV boxes so there would be a lot of users.

    Hi Igor

The Android App does have some scaling issues our development team is looking at with Ultra-large displays, but for the most part, is functional.

This is great news to hear it's being worked on. Funnily enough I was thinking about this again last night and was thinking I could use an old phone powered from the TV usb port and then use Casting to mirror the display.... But it would be much nicer to have just have an app on the TV! :)

So what’s the latest with an Android TV app then?? 6 months ago now apparently it was being worked on!

With the recent drop in firmware release quality over the last few versions introducing bugs, it seems Bluesound has now become a bit too NAD for its own good.

Starting to think I’ll ditch the BluOS gear and use Roon, which has TV display capabilities.

    Pull your finger out please.

I want to have the app also on android tv so what's the matter? You just need the tvdpidrawables can't be a problem? Bit frustrating for a system which is about 900 bucks!

I bought a Powernode 2i recently and was  surprised and disappointed to find that there's no Android TV app. Would also like an update on this please.

If i am honest i thought with the hdmi connection i get some screen on the TV which is like the app on the phone. However it's annoying always to use the phone or tablet guests don't have access to this devices.

No it doesn't! Some say if you sideload the app it scales correct on my android tv it doesn't scale correct can't use the app. Bluesound ignores us fully nobody will give some info about a roadmap...

Unfortunately Bluesound don’t announce planned features, the Bluesound website is quite clear on controllers available.

Support do however read every post and pass suggestions forward.

I really really hope that the Blueos controlled will SOON be available for Android TV. Otherwise, it is really a HUGE limitation, if not a showstopper for many people!

It’ll never happen, been 3 years ago I created this and Tony said the Bluesound app team had a functional version (yeah right!!).

I’ve been using recently my ATV4K for Apple Music and it’s great having that visual element on screen - it’s just a shame it converts everything to 48k. So I still use the Node for most critical listening but, again, no BluOS app for the ATV either!! :(
